The mornings were still beautiful, but lonely. She missed him standing next to her and listen to the chirpy birds. The memory of how he used to kiss on her cheek made her smile, every day.
She still followed their morning routine,
she made coffee,
she watered plants,
she opened that window,
she admired those beautiful birds,
she gazed at the sunrise,
and danced to the soft music.
A house for two, now missed, a pair of eyes who enjoyed the sunrise, a pair of playful smiles and above all, the house missed the duet dance performances.
Today, the melody was different, it was soothing, she opened the window and as the sun rays fell upon her,
With a smile, she mumbled, ” you came.”
