Who am I?
I am a mechanical engineering grad from India who had spent her childhood sketching, reading, writing, singing in the bathroom and daydreaming. I still follow the same routine with few new hobbies like photography and motivating people.
Specscladeyes is not a common word (in fact, I made it up), so let me break it down for you. I have been wearing spectacles for as long as I could remember, it really became a part of my identity. My perspective about the world is filtered through a layer of glasses.

Thanks for liking my post. I’m recently new to the blogging world and I’m finding it so welcoming and inviting. Your page is beautiful and inspiring. Some of your pieces brought peace to some of my own personal struggles. Its nice to know I’m not the only person who feels and experiences the things I do. I look forward to seeing more of your content.

Being a some time photographer myself i have come to believe that our reality is determined by the perspective we choose to view it from and that we are able to alter that perspective in accordance with what we learn from life – and from others sometimes. But only if we make that choice and alter the pre-existing perspective, like by looking through glasses, or a filter, say. 😉 Each of us views reality differently while always hoping there are others who can see it ‘our’ way.
On a radically different note: After living in Australia for a few decades now i can understand the temptation to spell Hie as you do and even the Aussie inclination to pronounce it as 2 syllables! 🙂 I can also understand the logic behind spelling it so that it rhymes with and matches Pie, Lie and Die, but English being the idiosyncratic, quirky and troublesome beast that it is usually requires it to be spelled: “Hi”. 🙂
Just thought i’d mention it. 😉
Have a great day!

I completely agree that our reality is determined by the perspective we choose☺ and the fun part is we are never short on choices. However, changing perspective is a difficult task but it’s still possible. (Just to add a quirky note, like I change my spectacles). Interesting thought process behind the word Hie, as I am writing this, I am trying to imitate Hie in the Aussie accent *failing phenomenally ofcourse* so, “Hi, to you, too”. Have a good day 🌸

Thank you Specs!… i never said it would be easy! 😉 ( to change one’s perspective.) 🙂
It is in fact quite tricky to even realise that you already have your own unique one and that things are not ‘just the way things are’.
