It’s Time, The Peace Should Prevail

They lost their lives because they did not belong to a particular religion,
They got their throat sliced while sipping the coffee,
And all we could do was NOTHING.

They lost their lives because they believed in love and equality,
They got shot while celebrating and spreading happiness,
And all we could do was NOTHING.

They lost their lives because they were attending the school,
They got shot while giggling and rhyming the poems,
And all we could do was NOTHING.

They lost their lives because it was their land, their own country,
They got harassed, forced to migrate and killed while living in their homes,
And all we could do was NOTHING.

They lost their lives because they were enjoying vacations,
They served as hostages and received bullets as reward,
And all we could do was NOTHING.

The media hyped,
People got psyched,
Just for some time, then everything died!
And all we could do was NOTHING.

Little do these hooligans know,
They might conquer the body, but the soul remains.
Little do these terrorists know,
The peace might be disturbed, but the hope remains.
Little do these monsters know,
They might induce the fear, momentarily, but the courage in the heart remains.

They have no religion,
They have zero self esteem,
They are cowards,
They are not qualified to be humans.

It’s time we let them know their place.
It’s time we stop them from abusing their privileges of living among us.
It’s time we join hand and come together, for real.
It’s time, the peace should prevail.
